...walk on the ocean: The Blue Mountains

I had a wonderful trip to Ooty with Tina over this long Easter weekend. I love Ooty, the serene beauty, away from the maddening crowd of Bangalore. We arrived early Good Friday morning after one heck of a bumpy bus ride and a sleepless night. But the frustration of the bad night vanished when the beautiful hills and green slopes came into view! It amazes me every time I see it. God is so wonderful and great! We went for the Good Friday service from 12-3pm, which was just great. God gave me the ability to stay awake after not sleeping the whole night to listen to the service, He also reminded me that I had some mints in my bag that would help! I went to Tina's school - Hebron, where I met so many wonderful people. They were so amazing. I really loved Ms. Smith, such a nice person and Mr. and Mrs. George. This trip was so enriching, even though it was just for 2 days. Hats off to the Hebron staff who mould their students into wonderful human beings who go out into the world and touch so many lives with their compassion, kindness and zest for life!
